Mountain Rangers 4-H Club

An evening full of science project for kids of all ages. You do to show up right on time and you do not have to stay the whole time.

Any families interested in showing and auctioning livestock at the fair are welcome to attend the Livestock Committee meetings. They are usually once a month. Sometimes there are educational activities for the kids. This month, we will be hammering out criteria for a scholarship.

We will be holding our re-organizational meeting to enroll members and leaders and set the projects for the upcoming year. Possible projects include horse, poultry, rabbit, gardening, foods, woodworking, craft science and more. Greene County hosts a Christmas party potluck each year. They have a talent show and do some community service crafts. It's pretty cool.

Tractor Supply, Co. will be hosting a 4-H open house type event. Clubs are invited to bring examples of their project work for the public to enjoy. TSC only supports 2 organizations - 4-H and FFA. They have been very good to us all along. If you can't bring anything, won't you try to stop by and show support?

Come to the farm with us and learn about horses. This is not a riding experience, so you don't have to be a rider to participate. If you like animals, this will be cool. We will meet at the Hudson CCE Office and carpool over to the farm. This is a fun way to spend some time off from school.

There will be a kick-off workshop for Horse Science projects, Horse Bowl in particular. We are looking for some new members to participate in this great event, since some kids have recently aged out. This is open to kids of all ages. Please come to meet some new kids, learn about horses and the events itself. You do NOT need to ride to participate.

I want to confirm our next meeting is Friday the 20th. I have enrollment forms here if you'd like to do it that way. OR you can download them from the website and fill them out ahead of time and/or send them in directly. It doesn't matter to me either way. Links Below...
