Running a 4-H club is hard!

You can't imagine what goes into getting together a local field trip. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but I don't like to use the phone. (A big handicap as a 4-H leader...) That''s why I am trying really hard to get the website up and running. I think that centralizing information and communication will help out a lot - for me anyway. Then again, as a web developer, I would say that! My default answer to any problem is, "Start a website."

Email is superior to phone communication in many ways. Because it is not real-time, you can send communication as your leisure and your target audience can respond when they feel like it.

Just the events calendar alone should save me a heap of trouble.

I really hope that the kids will get into it as well and make it their own. They could learn such valuable skills, even as young as they are. Just practicing typing has great value!
