What I brought to the fair.

I brought blueberry muffins, chocolate chip cookies with cranberries and coconut, a hat rack and a flower collection. I got a red ribbon on the blueberry muffins because they weren''t puffy enough. The cookies got a blue ribbon because they were moist. I got a blue ribbon on the flower collection because it was built well. The hat rack had a red ribbon because the sticks were loose.

Chocolate Chip Cookies PLUS

1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 t vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 b. flour
1 t. soda
1 t. salt
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. shredded coconut
1/2 c. dried cranberries

Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and egg. Blend in sifted dry ingredients. Stir in chips, coconut and cranberries. Drop 1 T size balls and bake at 350 until set 10 – 12 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen.
